AEP is a London-based company known as a provider of high-quality English language courses. We have been organising such intensive courses in the home of the teacher for over a decade. We concentrate on customer satisfaction, on efficiency and on personal care.
Teaching English in your own home
Offering hospitality to foreign students and teaching English in your own home can be a most enjoyable experience. The warm welcome and the expert teaching they receive can give them a lasting impression of British people and culture. Naturally at AEP we pay good rates for such valuable work.
Student Profile
The majority of our students are adults aged
18 to 55. They come from most European and Far East Asian
countries. We have bookings for 1, 2, 3 or more weeks. The
average stay is two weeks. The students have a working knowledge
of English and they come to the UK to improve their level
of English, particularly their understanding and their speaking.
Most of them need general English, but we are getting an
increasing number of students who need English for business,
law, medicine, insurance, finance, etc. others need intensive
exam preparation. Whilst we do have bookings throughout
the year, our busiest period is July, August and September.
We offer our overseas students:
- A warm welcome in the
teacher's home and help with adjusting to a different
culture.
- A personalised, intensive
one-to-one English language course in the teacher's home.
- A pleasant and cultural
experience of living in a comfortable English home and
total immersion in the language.
- Meals to be taken with
the teacher family to provide opportunities for language
practice.
- The enjoyment of sharing
the teacher's social activities, outings and interests.
- The choice of dates of
when they want to come and how long they want to stay.
- The intensity of the course:
They can choose 15, 20 or 25 lessons per week.
